Q: How many people can sleep in a Tent?
A: At Campmates we have two sizes of family tent available, the standard sleeps 2-4 people and the large tent sleeps 4-6 people.
Q: Can I bring my friend or family member?
A: As long as you have at least one child with you then yes of course.
Q: Can we get to the campsite by train?
A: Yes, there are bus stops within 1/2 a mile of the campsite and in the summer holidays the New Forest beach bus service stops approximately 150 yards from our entrance.
Q: Do I have to pay for any trips?
A: We do not charge for any guided trips.
Q: Do your tents have electricity?
A: Unfortunately not but we do have electricity under our shelter which can be used for charging telephones.
Q: Do you have a fridge?
A: We hire Ice Packs for coolboxes but we don't have a fridge onsite.
Q: When do I have to pay?
A: If you would like to guarantee your holiday dates, you can pay a £50 deposit now and pay the balance won’t be due until 28 days before the arrival date.
Q: Can we park near the tents?
A: Unfortunately not but there is plenty of grass parking next to the Campmates base.
Q: Are there showers and toilets onsite?
A: Yes there are toilets and showers onsite.
Q: Can we bring dogs?
A: We love dogs but a lot of people are wary of them and because you will be in a large close community, unfortunately we have to say no.
Q: Will there be an onsite Campmates Representative?
A: Yes, our friendly Reps will be there at set hours each day and all day on arrival and departure days.
Q: What time can we check in and out of the Bell Tents?
A: Guests can arrive anytime between 2.30pm and 6.30pm on arrival days, all guests must vacate at 10.30am on departure days.
Q. What time can we arrive if we bring our own tent?
A. Guests can arrive from 1pm and must check out by 10.30am on the departure day.
