Q: How many people can sleep in a Tent?
A: We have different sized tents available and our maximum is 6 people in one of our larger tents.
Q: What's the minimum age of Children?
A: You must have at least one child under the age of 16.
Q: Can I bring another Adult friend?
A: Yes of course.
Q: Can we get to Lepe Meadows campsite by public transport?
A: The simple answer is yes, although the nearest bus stop is approximately 500 yards from the Campsite.
Q: When do I have to pay?
A: If you would like to guarantee your holiday dates, you can pay with a small deposit now and the balance won’t be due until 30 days before the arrival date.
Q: Can I spread my payments?
A: Our online reservation system allows you to login into your account and make multiple payments so yes you can.
Q: Can I drink Alcohol at Campmates?
A: Yes of course however we ask all parents to remember they are responsible for their own children and their own safety.
Q: Do you have noise curfews?
A: The campsite rules state that all noise and music must stop by 10.30pm.
Q: Can we park near the tents?
A: Yes.
Q: Can we bring dogs?
A: We love dogs but a lot of people are wary of them and because you will be in a large close community, unfortunately we have to say no.
Q: What is the Campmates “DEN”?
A: The “Den” is a marquee that will be accessible day and evening for socialising with other Adults and a place to take cover on those wet days.
Q: Will there be an onsite Campmates Representative?
A: Yes, our friendly Reps will be there at set hours each day and all day on arrival and departure days.
Q: Can we have BBQ’s?
A: All BBQ’s must be raised off the grass however unfortunately the Forestry Commission will not allow the burning of wood in this part of the New Forest.
Q: Is there any security onsite?
A: The main gates open between 7am and 10.30pm, the campsite operates their own security and all Campmates customers have to adhere to their advice or instructions.
Q: What do we need to bring?
A: You will need to bring bedding, clothes, toiletries, money, mobile phone, food and drink. There are small supermarkets close by if you need something that isn’t sold in the onsite shops.
Q: What time do I arrive and depart?
A: Arrivals must be before 7pm and departures by 10.30am.
